A little history 地区のなりたち
Nagayama was one of the three villages Hokkaido created here in 1890. In June 1891, 400 farmer-soldier households arrived, 200 each in West and East Nagayama. The name honors Nagayama Takeshirō, who surveyed the basin in 1885.[4][1][63][64]
Nagayama Shrine, founded in 1892, was the first shrine in the Kamikawa area, and the Nagayama Tonden Festival is held in late July. The district is also home to the Kamikawa Joint Government Building, Ramen Village, the Otokoyama brewery and Asahikawa Design Center.[64][31][1][25][30]
