Come on in, let’s have a look around!いっしょに見てまわろう!

Michi-no-Eki Asahikawa is just south of JR Asahikawa Station, about 5 minutes over the Crystal Bridge, on National Route 237 toward Furano. Taisetsu Crystal Hall, the Sample Forest and the Miura Ayako Literature Museum are nearby.[74][75][8]

The food court has Asahikawa ramen: Baikohken (founded 1969) serves classic double-soup shoyu, and Yoshino serves miso and miso-butter ramen. Hyōsetsuan mills its own Hokkaido buckwheat for soba, Torori-an makes ankake fried noodles and fried chicken, and the DAPAS bakery bakes on site.[8][79]

The shop stocks more than 1,000 products made in Asahikawa and northern Hokkaido or from local ingredients, among them dried noodles from popular Asahikawa ramen shops, Taisetsu Ji Beer and official Asahiyama Zoo goods.[77][8][78]

It was registered in 2000 as Hokkaido’s 66th roadside station. Its exhibition hall hosts events such as the Asahikawa Pottery Festival.[8][80][70]
